Russ joined Clear Haven in 2024 and brings over 20 years of relevant industry experience. Russ began his career with Merrill Lynch in institutional fixed income sales & trading where his product specialization ranged from treasuries to distressed credit. He held similar positions at other leading sales & trading firms including Lehman, Citi, and Morgan Stanley. Russ transitioned to asset management in 2012, joining PIMCO on the fundraising side. After PIMCO he held a senior fund raising role at Credit Suisse Asset Management as well as a fintech startup. Most recently, he served as MD of Institutional Business Development at Obra Capital where he focused on institutional fund raising for niche non-correlated investment strategies.

Russ graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Oregon State University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
